Someone Take This Shovel Out Of My Hands
From Julio Sepia:
It takes one day for ten workers to dig ten holes.
It takes two days for five workers to dig ten holes.
How much does it take for one man to dig HALF a hole?

Half a day, obviously.
There is no “half a hole”. Or it is a hole or it isn’t.
Maybe it’s a fuzzy hole?
So, does anyone have the official answer for this?
Eduardo’s answer “there is no such things as a half hole” is logical, (and that is the one I’m leaning towards), but I’m assuming all holes are expected to be of a specified size, or?
The real mathematical answer (half a day) just seems way to simple, AND it’s filed under the “Logic” category, and not “Math”.
I double checked with @jsepia, and he confirmed the answer “there is no half hole”.
If one consider one hole as a hole with diameter x meters and depth y meters then a hole with depth y/2 is a half hole.!!!…having same diameter obviously….so this asnwer that there is no half holeis not justified!!!!
half a day
It takes 1 day for 10 workers to dig ten holes.
Then Half a day for HALF a hole
